STATEMENT
On a mission to Recentbers, Germery, 13 Merch 1945, Last I saw was
ship 44-6317 tryine to keep up ir formation but apparently could not. it
seemed 9.3 if bis number three (3) engine was going bed. He graditally slipped
behind ead the tail gunner said be turned back and headed beck for home.
This was about one (?) hour from the target. He was gradually losing altitudo,
but all engines were still runnirg when he left the Cormation.
